General HR Officer | French Speaker | Porto, Portugal

Are you an experienced HR professional with strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management and labour law?

We are looking for French-speaking HR Officeres to join an international HR Services team supporting the French market.
This role is ideal for experienced HR professionals who enjoy combining operational HR activities, employee relations, and advisory support in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Location Porto, Portugal

What you'll do
- Act as a key point of contact for managers and operational teams on HR-related matters.
- Provide first-level HR guidance and support on company policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle topics.
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR-related documentation.
- Manage employee correspondence related to leave requests, contract terminations, and other HR processes.
- Support disciplinary procedures by drafting relevant documentation and ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
- Assist managers with employee relations cases and complex HR matters.
- Coordinate employee transfers, departures, and associated administrative processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and HR projects across the business.

What we're looking for
Fluent French & English (written and spoken)
Degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, or a related field
Solid experience in HR administration and employee relations
Strong knowledge of labour law and HR processes
Experience handling complex HR cases and personnel management activities
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business
Experience working in an international environment is a plus
